Phones, tablets and browsers in your family
How devices join your family, what the website shows about them, and how signing out works.
Your family can play on more than one phone or tablet. Every device signed in to your family shares the same children, progress and plan.
Add a new phone or tablet
- Sign in the same way in the app. Install Jupo World on the new device and sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used on the first one (or the same email, in newer versions of the app that offer email sign-in).
- Or use a Connect code. Read Connect the app with a Connect code.
What the website shows
Phones and tablets, in your family on the website, lists every device that played in your family, with the day it last played. You can give each one a name, like Kitchen iPad.
A browser where you saved the game at play.jupo.world shows here too, as a web device. Remove it and that browser stops saving to your family at once. Choosing Disconnect this device in the game removes it too.
Remove a device
If a device is lost or no longer yours, choose Remove this device. We ask you to confirm it's you first. The next time that device opens, it asks to start fresh and no longer gets your family's progress. On an older version of the app this happens once the app is updated, and the page tells you so. If the device was signed in with Apple or Google, change that password too. If anything looks wrong, write to us.
Signing out of the website
Sign out of the website everywhere, on the Account page, signs you out in every browser. The app on your child's devices keeps working. Read Signing in on a shared computer.
When you remove a child or delete the family
- After you remove a child, your other devices drop that child the next time they connect.
- When you delete the family account, every device signed in to the family loses its progress.
