Delete your Jupo World account
Draft for legal review.
Our lawyers are still checking this text, so it may change before it takes effect.
You can delete your family's Jupo World account and the data that goes with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next.
What gets deleted
Deleting the account removes the whole family: every child's profile, their game progress, rewards and settings, the devices linked to the account, and the sign-in itself. Once it is done it cannot be undone, so you may want to download a copy of your data first.
If you only want to remove one child, you can do that instead and keep the rest of the family.
A few records are kept after deletion, without your name or email: proof of the consent choices you made, and records we must keep by law, such as accounting records for purchases.
If you can sign in
The quickest way is to sign in on this website and open Privacy in your family area. There you can download your data, remove a child, or delete the whole family. We ask you to confirm it's you before anything is deleted, and deletion starts straight away.
The parent area of the Jupo World app (behind the parent gate) can also delete the account.
If you can't sign in
Maybe the app is no longer on your phone, or you never signed in with an email, Apple or Google. Send us a deletion request with the form on our privacy request page.
To make sure we delete the right family, and only at its parent's request, we will ask you to prove the account is yours. We will write to you to confirm it is you. The easiest proof is the support code (or the Player ID on older versions of the app) shown in the app's parent area. If you do not have it, tell us what you can (the email you used, roughly when you started, which devices) and we will work it out with you.
We reply within one business day and finish the deletion as soon as we have confirmed it's you.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Please cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings first, so you are not charged again.
Sign in with Apple
If you signed in with Apple and delete your family's account on our website, we also remove Jupo World from your Sign in with Apple account. If that does not work, or you asked us to delete the account another way, you can remove it yourself: on an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, and choose Jupo World.
Accounts that are not used
We plan to delete accounts that nobody in the family has used for 24 months, with an email 30 days before if we have a verified address. Automatic deletion is not switched on yet: today we do not delete inactive accounts automatically, and our Privacy Policy will say when it starts.
