Accessibility Statement
Draft for legal review.
Our lawyers are still checking this text, so it may change before it takes effect.
We want every grown-up to be able to use the Jupo World website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the website jupo.world and its signed-in areas for families, teachers and ambassadors. It does not cover the game itself, in the app or at play.jupo.world (see below).
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice this means, for example:
- every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focus is always visible and never hidden behind the cookie banner or other panels;
- buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and at least 44 by 44 in the family area;
- text has enough contrast against its background;
- signing in never asks you to solve a puzzle or remember a code: you can paste codes, and your browser can fill in one-time codes;
- each page says which language it is in.
How accessible the website is today
The website is partly conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We check every page automatically as we build it, but we have not yet done a full manual review with screen readers. Until we have, there may be problems we do not know about.
Known issues:
- Some pages in languages other than English still show English text while translations are reviewed, and that text is marked as English.
- The learning picture in the family area will have a text and table version of every chart; this is still being built.
The game
Jupo World's games are built for young children and draw directly to the screen, so they cannot fully meet WCAG. We give them large tap targets and spoken guidance, and we keep improving them. Tell us if something gets in the way.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the website does not work for you, or you need information in a different format, write to hello@jupo.world and tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 1 business day and to fix problems that block access within 30 days.
How we prepared this statement
This statement was prepared on 3 October 2026 from our own checks. We will review it after a full manual review and at least once a year.
