Everything you need to write about Jupo World. If you need something that is not here, such as an interview, photos of Judit Polgár or numbers for a story, write to press@jupo.world.
The facts
- Jupo World is an app for children aged 4 to 10 that teaches thinking skills through chess stories, missions and minigames.
- It is built on the Chess Palace method of Judit Polgár, the greatest female chess player of all time.
- The Chess Palace method has been taught since 2013 in over 3,000 schools and nurseries, most of them in Hungary.
- The method builds six superpowers: Communication, Memory, Movement and Fine Motor Skills, Creativity, Self-control and Collaboration.
- Jupo World is available in the App Store and on Google Play, in English, Hungarian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Finnish and Turkish.
- No ads, no chat and nothing a child can buy: a parent gate stands in front of every purchase.
- Jupo World is made by Little Grandmasters.
How to write the name
- The product is Jupo World: two words, both capitalised.
- "Chess Palace" is the name of the method, not the app. Write "the Judit Polgár Chess Palace method" or "the Chess Palace method".
- Some store listings and older versions of the app still show the name Chess Palace while the change to Jupo World finishes. Both lead to the same app.
- In Hungary the method and its books are known as Sakkpalota.
