You have two Jupo families

Why the website can find two families, how you can bring a device into your family, and why we never join them on our own.

Updated 4 October 2026

Sometimes a device has its own family with progress, and so does your account. This happens, for example, when the app was set up on two devices with different sign-ins.

Nothing is lost

We never join two families on our own. Both keep their children and progress until we have talked with you.

Bring a device into your family

Often you can do it yourself. After you type the device's Connect code, the website shows See what moves over.

  1. We ask if both accounts are yours. We only join accounts of the same grown-up.
  2. For each child on the device, you choose: the same child as one in your family, add as a new child, or don't bring over. Children you don't bring over are kept aside for 90 days, and you can bring them back from Phones and tablets.
  3. You type MERGE and confirm it's you.

Other devices still on the old account move over the next time they open.

When we do it together

Sometimes the website can't do it, for example when the device's account has the subscription or its own sign-in. Then write to us. The website shows your support code on this screen; please put it in your message.

  • If both families are yours, we join them for you.
  • If they belong to two different grown-ups, each keeps their own. Read Two homes.

If both families have a subscription

Keep both for now. We will tell you which one to cancel, so you don't lose anything you paid for.
