Which ages is Jupo World for?
Jupo World is made for children aged 4 to 10. Tasks come in several levels, so younger and older children each find their own challenge.
How long should a child play each day?
10 to 15 minutes of mission time a day is enough. Short, regular play works best.
Does my child need to know how to play chess?
No. The game introduces the pieces and the rules step by step through a story. Children learn to play chess and think along with the story.
What makes Jupo World different?
It is built on the BELMA award-winning Chess Palace curriculum, tested by educators and child psychologists. There are no ads and no external links, so children can enjoy learning and adventures undisturbed.
Does it work offline?
Yes, so the app can be used while travelling.
Does it support children with special educational needs (SEN)?
Yes. Tasks come in several difficulty levels matched to what the child knows, so the programme has also worked well in inclusive settings.
Which devices does the app run on?
iPads, Android tablets and phones running iOS 14 or Android 10 and later. For the best experience we recommend a screen larger than 7 inches.
Is the app free?
The first series of missions is free, so children can try the games before you decide. Full, unlimited content comes with a monthly or annual subscription, which only a parent can approve. There are no ads and no other paid games for children.
